HORST G. SIERKS Horst Sierks, aged 65 years, beloved husband of Martha Sierks, passed away at Concordia Hospital on January 1, 2000. Horst is lovingly remembered by his wife Martha; his three sons, Marvin (Robyn), Gerald, Roland (Rosemary) his grandchildren, Katherine, Michael, Paul, Karl-Horst and Mathew; three brothers, Hans (Peggy) in England, Heinz (Anni), Karl-Herrmann (Karin) in Germany; two sisters, Gretchen, Maren (Gunther) also in Germany. Horst loved his profession as an electrician and worked for Red River Electric and River East Electric until he was forced to retire because of Parkinsons Disease. Horst was always willing to help when there was a need and he will be missed by all who knew him. Horst was predeceased by his parents, Herrmann and Meta; his aunt Anneliese Lorensen and his brother-in-law Emil Meier. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Rowandale Baptist Church, 162 Rowandale Avenue. Viewing on Wednesday from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Interment to follow funeral services in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Billy Graham Association of Canada, P.O. Box 841, Stn. Main, Winnipeg, R3C 2R3. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
